Norwegian-based artist Anne-Karin Furunes has created something not quite photographic, and not quite a painting. Instead, she’s made portrait images of people entirely from thousands upon thousand (…upon thousands!) of tiny hand-punched perforated holes. The results? They’re startlingly awesome.
Take a look at these large-scale, hole-filled, totally entrancing portraits and tell your mind to start believing your eyes, pronto! They really are that awesome.
Check out Anna-Karin’s description of her art below:
Anna-Karin’s works are some of the most unique we’ve ever encountered. If you’d like to see more, we recommend checking out her blog for some other “hole-ly” work. But just make sure to share with your friends using the buttons below first. They’ll want to see this!
These Portraits Were Made Using Only Very Tiny Dots. Incredible.
