Who doesn’t love a good movie? (Besides The Academy, of course.) As much as we enjoy watching films, it’s important to remember they’re not real life. Even some of the more reasonable things in movies can have totally fictitious origins.


Take these common movie myths, for example. You probably believe most of them…but why would anyone make these up?

I knew movies weren’t real life, but wow. I definitely thought most of these were true. I’m glad I found these things out before learning these film falsehoods the hard way. I wonder how many police officers have to explain to people that what they believe to be true was something from a movie on a daily basis?
