Living in a city can feel cramped. Even if you have an outdoor area, it’s usually pretty small, and doesn’t have much space for any of the fun stuff you can do in bigger backyards.
But before you overlook your outdoor space, check out what this guy did with his. By optimizing the space they had, these homeowners turned their tiny backyard into an awesome, relaxing area that would make even the biggest backyard owners jealous.
It started out as an unused, tiny yard. There was a lot of work to do.
After clearing away all the brush, they installed 4×4 post.
The unique design of the Venetian blind-inspired wall gave the patio an interesting look, while also providing privacy.
He then stain the wood to give it the proper color.
He then began work on the area where the wooden patio would be.
These are the concrete blocks that would support the large wooden patio.
Then it was time to start building.
The fully assembled patio.
Once the wood was stained, the space really came together. A little more work and the project would be complete.
Stone tiles surrounding the deck, furniture, and an umbrella finished it off. This looks like the perfect spot to relax on a summer day.
